For this project, I was tasked with creating 13 short profiles on each of the trainees highlighting their goals, their cooking personalities, insights from their coaches, and feedback from a juried tasting.

Christina Seix Academy is an independent school that works toward dismantling of systemic barriers caused by the intersections of race, class, immigration status, and other elements of identity. Children begin as early as five years old and continue through 8th grade. To celebrate their first ever graduating class, the organization commissioned a film highlighting each student.
I was tasked with editing each of the mini student profiles that used throughout the film. For this, I was given the student interviews and some additional b-roll footage. The challenge was getting to know each student through their interviews alone, and creating micro biographical segments that truly encapsulated who they were in that moment.

Catering by Restaurant Associates (CxRA)

CxRA is a rapidly growing high-end catering company. This segment highlights their achievements and goals as the company continuously aims to improve in their service to the community.
For this project, I was given a bunch of interviews, lots of great b-roll, and all the major bullet points they wanted the video to hit. The challenge was to make it all flow as a story while also being rhythmically interesting and fun to watch.

In the peak of COVID, American Express updated their cafe and protocols to ensure the safety of their in-house employees.
I was given a list of updates that were made including safety measures and a new ordering app. I then wrote an audio/visual script, which included an original voiceover and a detailed shot list. Editing was a breeze as I got to follow my own script using the specific footage I had requested.

For this comprehensive online course, I was tasked with giving prospective students an inside look at the virtual layout as well as the course contents, without shooting any additional footage. For content, I screen-recorded different sections of the course and manually added multiple effects to keep the video fast paced and visually interesting. I also edited all of the instructional videos within the course (shot on iPhone by the client), which included adding graphics, open captions, music, voiceover, sound effects, animated logo, extensive color correction, and more. As an added bonus, I also provided css/html coding for inside the course and created all of the original artwork including the mandala that is used throughout the Center of Power curriculum.
